Jesus was approached by crowd, wishing to stone a woman for adultery. When asked by what He thought they should do, Jesus knelt and wrote in the dirt. Then He stood and set an example for all of us. He said "Let He without sin cast the first stone...." One by one, the accusers dropped their rocks and left. Soon it was just Jesus, the only one there without sin, and the woman. No stones were thrown, forgiveness was given and a life was changed.
My process includes creating an acrylic wash to inspire the background, followed by a digital painting done using many transparent layers. I adjust the order and transparency of the layers until I get just the effect that I want and freeze it into a file for printing.
Each print is made after you place your order, using archival inks on archival water color paper with a white border displaying the quality paper.
