Prize Winner! The original painting won First Place at the Anderson Museum of Art’s “Welcome Home” exhibit in 2021.

This painting honors all that served in our military forces. Specifically, it honors some of bravest, and least honored members - the Medics. Many of our veterans owe their lives to the medics. The title of this piece is from the prayer of Desmond Doss, a medic from WW2 who received the Congressional Medal of Honor for his service in Okinawa - "Lord, Help me get just one more"

My process includes creating an acrylic wash to inspire the background, followed by a digital painting done using many transparent layers. I adjust the order and transparency of the layers until I get just the effect that I want and freeze it into a file for printing.

Each print is made after you place your order, using archival inks on archival water color paper with a white border displaying the quality paper.
