in 1932 Ford brought out the famous "Flat Head" V8. The "Flat Head" was powerful, fast and changed the way cars were built and marketed. By the late '30s, there were V8 were being squeezed into smaller, lighter cars such as the Model T and "Hot Rods" were born.
My process includes creating an acrylic wash to inspire the background, followed by a digital painting done using many transparent layers. I adjust the order and transparency of the layers until I get just the effect that I want and freeze it into a file for printing.
Each print is made after you place your order, using archival inks on archival water color paper with a white border displaying the quality paper.
