This church has graced the town of Fishers for over a century. My parents were married here in the early 1950's. My grandmother played the piano and organ here for many years. I attended church here from the time I was born until the church built a larger sanctuary. The building still stands, and a group of Fishers residents are fighting to get it designated as a Historic Property.
My process includes creating an acrylic wash to inspire the background, followed by a digital painting done using many transparent layers. I adjust the order and transparency of the layers until I get just the effect that I want and freeze it into a file for printing.
Each print is made after you place your order, using archival inks on archival water color paper with a white border displaying the quality paper.
