Eller's Bridge - Fishing

Eller's Bridge, in Fishers Indiana burned around the time I was born. I don't remember actually seeing the bridge, but my grandmother had a painting of the bridge that was one of my inspirations to become a painter. I also have a picture of my grandmother in 1932, standing in front of a 1930 Oldsmobile, which is why I added the Oldsmobile in the bridge. A painting of something I wish I remembered......

My process includes creating an acrylic wash to inspire the background, followed by a digital painting done using many transparent layers. I adjust the order and transparency of the layers until I get just the effect that I want and freeze it into a file for printing.

Each print is made after you place your order, using archival inks on archival water color paper with a white border displaying the quality paper.
